I am working on a series of ancient cutures, starting with Sumerians and leading all the way to Greece. I have always been fascinated with ancient cultures and examining how music has influenced these cultures is so interesting. I hope everyone else finds this subject as interesting as I do.   It has been a year since I wrote anything here. Then again, not like the multitudes are breaking down the doors to see what I write. So trying to think about what to blog about on my blog I never blog on. I can say I have been super busy with my site, which looks like it is finally starting to get some notice out there. It has been a long year with not much happening. I guess it just takes persistence to get anything going. My community is still really tiny tho with so many places that offer streaming audio and video, someday I'll get there...lol So if you do not know me and are reading this, add me! I'm always looking for new people to connect up with. Dae

    I've been spending so much time recording as of late, I'm really neglecting my websites. I'm trying to divide my time pretty evenly..wish me luck haha I just love recording. It is amazing to hear your songs just come to life.

    I was asked to organize a bardic circle for a local picnic. I think that will be a lot of fun, but will require me to squeeze in learning a few new tunes into my crazy schedule.

    Tomorrow I practice with my new celtic group. This has been the most fun I have had with a group of musicians. It is nice when everyone is on the same page.

    I still have my weekend classic rock thing going on. It's a job, but someone has to do it..hahaha

Hey everyone,

     I had an interesting weekend! I spent most of it getting my computer back up and running. Apparently, I had an issue with my windows services. It bascially crippled my OS to the point of no return. I could've paid Bill gates 58 bux to have one of their techs give me the default values for the registry but instead I opted to dump. Adios...should've bought a Mac. haha It wasn't a huge deal except the loss of 3 days and I'm still reinstalling as I write this.

    I did take the time to enjoy an open mic night on Friday. A good freind of mine who moved to Atlanta was in town for a day on business. It was really nice to spend some time with him.

    On Saturday, we had an all day picnic at a local park. some friends of mine came out to play some music so it also was a fun day.

    Next weekend, we will be gigging. I look forward to it after having a weekend off. We'll be in a new place and I think we will be there over and over. We are generally well liked and get booked repeatedly. That's about all for now. Dae

It is finally feeling like spring here in the North East. I was beginning to think it may never ever arrive. We have a spring picnic coming up this weekend, indoors, but still at a local park. It will be very nice with loads of spring games and spring music!! Spring has always been my favorite season. I love the fresh clean perfume of a light warm rain shower. The vibrant colors of spring are so refreshing after the long, cold, dark, bitter, gloomy, depressing, (and did I mention freezing!)winter!!

This is why I love Florida. every year, I visit there and wish that I could stay forever. Even through Hurricane Charlie, I still love the place! I'm hoping to visit again this summer, along with a trip to Tennessee. I love to travel and I cannot wait! Happy spring-happy travels Dae
